Join the Wrightwood music community for the opening concert of Music in the Pines and the 13^th season of summer concerts! The opening concert will take place on June 15 from 6:00pm until 9:30pm at The Apple Farm! We will be celebrating the inauguration of the new 30×30 foot wood dance floor, it will be dedicated to the memory of John Walsh and the continuing vitality of Katherine Simons during a ceremony beginning at 6:00pm. Don’t miss this magical evening of music, dancing and fun as we break in the awesome new Music in the Pines dance floor!

The Apple Farm concert venue is located at the intersection of State Highway 2 and Rivera Drive in Wrightwood 92397. Shuttle service is available from the Wrightwood Community Center, and disabled parking is provided at The Apple Farm.

After the just can’t stop dancing set, dance winners will be announced during intermission. At that time, there will also be a raffle of gifts, merchandise and tickets donated by Wrightwood merchants. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.

Continuing with the dance beat for the second set will be John Burcher & Hot Thumpers. Featured musicians include Burcher, Craig Kupka, Wayne Elliot, Dave Sullivan, Zane Wood, Dana “Chips” Hoover and Jay Minor.
